About Josh
Josh is based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, where he lives with his wife and two children. With over 15 years of experience as a full-time videographer, Josh has honed his craft across weddings, fashion, and the arts.
Since founding Joyride, he has filmed weddings both within Australia and internationally, with work in locations such as Italy, France, Greece, Hawaii, Thailand, the United States, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

- 001Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Josh, and I live on Sydney's northern beaches with my wife and two kids. I have been working as a full time wedding videographer for 14 years. Since the birth of Joyride, I have filmed weddings all over Australia and have traveled to destinations such as Italy, France, Greece, Thailand, America, New Zealand & Indonesia.
- 002What can we expect on the day?
I aim to be unobtrusive in my approach. In my opinion blending into the background allows me to capture the day authentically, and produces the best results.
- 003When will we receive our videos?
I try my best to provide a quick turn around time. I am a one man team who does all post production in house, and comletely AI free. All of your footage is processed and edited by myself. Most of my films are edited and delivered 12–16 weeks from your wedding date.
Please note I shoot with both super 8 and 16mm film which has to be posted to our film lab in Melbourne, processed and returned — a process which takes roughly 4–6 weeks in itself. My films are then highly edited: culling through audio and footage, cutting it all together, adding music, colour grading, adding effects and mixing the audio, then exporting and delivering.
